AN INNOVATIVE SOLUTION FOR accessible and inclusive tourism

WikiMuseo is the solution designed with the help of Museums of the National Museum Network, designed to make visits to the cultural heritage of territories and museum facilities more accessible.
The solution is aimed at all cultural facilities and can be used from a branded and customizable App or webapp that does not require the introduction of new systems: thanks to REST API web services it can easily integrate with other existing systems including booking and ticketing systems.

THE INCLUSIVE TOURISM PLATFORM

The Itinex platform, was born from the Lombardia Inclusive Experience project to facilitate and enhance the culture of accessible and inclusive tourism through the use of new 4.0 technologies.

Our goal is to enable tour operators to qualify and enhance sustainable tourism offerings while making them more inclusive and usable for all types of audiences, especially the fragile ones, not only because it is fair but also because it is fairly remunerative if done with foresight and passion.

WikiMuseo enables cultural workers to assemble publicly accessible cultural resources and create new ways to enjoy cultural heritage through pathways and challenges. Instead, there is an opportunity for visitors to enrich Points of Interest through community input and create routes or challenges for schools, cultural associations, and groups of friends. The accessible tourism platform, moreover, makes it possible to design and host inclusive content (immersive audio guides for the blind, LIS videos for the deaf, easey-to-read texts for people with cognitive difficulties, …) creating facilitation routes for each type of specific need.
